About the KGF
The Kansas Geological Foundation was founded in March of 1989 as a not-for-profit corporation under the guidelines of section 501(c)(3) of the federal tax code.

Education Programs and Services
The KGF provides a variety of educational benefits to the public. 

KGF Video Tape Library
The Kansas Geological Foundation has a collection of tapes and CD's available on a variety of subjects dealing with earth sciences.

KGF Grants
Policies and Procedures for qualified applicants.   Grants were given in 2003-2004 to support important projects.

Dr. Robert F. Walters Digital Geological Library Project
The project's goal is to digitally preserve the 80 Year collection of the Kansas Geological Society Library.

Membership
A tax deductible membership donation helps support programs about the science of geology.

Memorials
The Kansas Geological Foundation can establish a memorial or endowment to a family member.

Speakers Bureau
A group of professionals are available to speak about the earth sciences.

Student Financial Assistance
By providing scholarships to students the KGF encourages the study of earth sciences.  Several students received assistance for Fall Semester 2006
