Grants 
The Kansas Geological Foundation Board of Directors award grants to those studying Kansas Geology. Grants awarded for the years 2003-2004 are:
Joe Hall WSU graduate student, studying the depositional and sedimentological process of the Carlton Limestone.  $400
KIOGA Received $550 for the continuing education program for K-12 Kansas earth science teachers at the 2003 KIOGA Convention
Daryl Lederhos WSU graduate student, studying the Mississippian subcrop and lithologies in Cowley and Sumner counties, Kansas.  $600
Nick McClean University of Iowa student, received $500 for his research and analysis of ore forming fluids in the tri-state lead-zinc district.
